Turtle Island was the name that many Native American peoples used to refer to their world. Like many other cultures they visualized the world around them as the back of a giant turtle that was swimming through the cosmos. The mountains, rivers, everything was a feature on the shell of a cosmic turtle. The Turtle Spirit brings longevity and stability in a fast moving world.

The Turtle Island flute is made from a combination of my three favorite North American hardwoods – cherry for the body, walnut for the ends and curly maple for the detailing. These woods are sustainably harvested. The Turtle Island flute is available only in 432Hz with Just Intonation tuning.
