Backpacker Cherry Native American style flute

American Cherry wood, often called Black Cherry, is a medium density, smooth grained, sustainably harvested North American hardwood. It has a warm tan color that darkens with age to a dark russet brown.  A flute made from cherry has a warm, balanced, sweet tonal quality. It takes a very smooth finish.
