American Cherry is on of my favorite woods. It is a close, tight-grained medium dense hardwood with lovely, subtle grain patterns. Its reddish tan color mellows and darkens with age. Bubinga is a very dense, close-grained hardwood from Africa. It has an attractive grain pattern. The finish on this Love flute is smooth and lusterous. Native American flutes made of cherry wood tend to be on the mellower side and to be slightly lighter in weight.
